The Skirt of Hope- Spódnica Nadziei

A Story That Still Lives in Our Hearts

Last Sunday, something beautiful happened.

What began years ago as a simple idea once again unfolded into a powerful reminder of what is possible when women gather with intention, compassion, and courage.

The Skirt of Hope – Spódnica Nadziei is not just a piece of clothing. It is a living symbol. A story stitched together by hands guided by love.

A few years ago, a group of extraordinary women, each carrying her own story, sat together at one table. They were different in many ways, but united by one shared vision: to create something meaningful that would carry goodness into the world. Together, they sewed a skirt for a dancer who performed at an event supporting United Colors of Pink. That skirt became more than fabric. It became a symbol of strength. A trace of their hearts. A reflection of care, solidarity, and feminine power.

One year later, filled with emotion and memory, the skirt was auctioned during the Pink Ball for Iza, raising $1,500 in support. It was proof that when women unite in the name of hope, extraordinary things happen.

This Year We Gathered Again

On Sunday, February 15th, from 12:00 to 4:30 PM, women gathered once more at Dwell Studio to celebrate, create, and weave the next chapter of this story.

The atmosphere was warm and intimate. It was a community gathering. Laughter filled the room. Conversations flowed naturally. Hands worked. Hearts opened.

“Kiedy dłonie pracują razem, a serca biją w jednym rytmie rodzi się nadzieja.”When hands work together and hearts beat in the same rhythm hope is born.

What began as an idea years ago has grown into something much bigger than art.

Skirt of Hope is visibility. It is sisterhood. It is a reminder that no woman walks alone.

Through initiatives like this, United Colors of Pink continues to create spaces where women feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Sunday was a reflection of resilience, strength, and community in its purest form.
