United Colors of Pink 2021 Impact

United Colors of Pink is proud to report its 2021 Impact! With your amazing support, we were able to provide:

  • Thermographic Breast Screening at a discounted rate to over seventy women.

Thermography is a painless, non-invasive, clinical test without any radiation exposure. It is used as part of an early detection program that gives women of all ages the opportunity to increase their chances of detecting breast disease at an early stage.

  • We provided 40 hours of one-on-one health coaching sessions to cancer patients.

Our Integrative Nutrition Coach, Katarzyna Augustyn, worked with cancer patients to guide them on how to create a healthy, sustainable diet during and after treatment. Nutrition is an important part of breast cancer treatment. Food can help manage side effects and help the body heal.

  • We supported the health of fifteen cancer-fighting patients with all-natural supplements, vitamins, and minerals.

  • We offered workshops to educate women about breast health and breast cancer prevention:

  • Cancer Prevention and Survival Cooking Class with Healthy & Happy Living

  • Stress Reduction and Fighting Breast Cancer dr. Karoliną Mikos

  • Emotions- Impact on Health with Maria T. Lezniak, LAc, NCCAOM

  • Cancer: Thriving and Surviving is a 6-week interactive workshop for cancer survivors with Illinois Pathways to Health

  • We delivered "care packages" that included all-natural or organic skincare products and cleaning supplies to people affected by breast cancer.

United Colors of Pink is humbled by the continued support of our partners and individual advocates!

On behalf of everyone who has been affected by breast cancer in any way, we appreciate you and thank you for your help and generosity!

Together, we can do so much more. Together, we can help end breast cancer. Let's save lives one breast at a time

because there is a beating heart next to it!

Gratefully, Your Team at United Colors of Pink
